Hello Everyone!

Today my husband Bob and me are celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary even though we have been together for many years. Four years ago we vacationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. We had a great time and visited Pearl Harbor, the Dole Pineapple Plantation, climbed Diamond Head and hit the beaches. Pearl Harbor was awesome! I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit it. But Diamond Head was a work out! I'm glad I climbed it but I doubt I will ever do it again! It was intense! The Dole Plantation was kind of interesting to. We took a little train ride around the plantation and then we went through their pineapple garden maze. It was in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2001 for being the largest maze. At first it was fun and something new to experience but after awhile it got boring. The reason was probably because I couldn't find my way out. Ha! Ha! Ha! Yep! It was tough. So we ended up giving up and going to get a pineapple ice cream instead. We also attended a Hawaiian Luau while we there. That was a lot of fun to. The day before we were to fly back home we bit the bullet and went and got our marriage license and went to see the judge. It was a done deal after that! :-) I have no complaints though. We also had the pleasure of having our son Kyle there with us.

We don't have any plans for the day so we'll probably just relax around the house today and maybe share a glass of champagne. We thought about going out for dinner tonight but I think I am going to bake an enchilada pie instead so we can just hang out around the house.

Maybe when we hit our ten year anniversary mark we can make that trip back to Hawaii again and renew our vows. That would be fun!

Below are a few pictures from our vacation/marriage when we went to Hawaii.

The three of us on the street taking pictures with beautiful birds. Unfortunately the bird my son Kyle was holding bit off half of the arm on his brand new glasses! I was NOT a happy camper!

Look at their faces! This was halfway up Diamond Head. I told you it was intense!

Beautiful postcard photo once you made it to the top of Diamond Head!

I love this picture! I love how the sun was setting on the water and made it look like a black & white photo.

This is a picture of Kyle in front of the surf board statue on the beach in Waikiki.

Kyle doing the "Shaka" sign which is a common greeting gesture in Hawaii.

Beautiful Peal Harbor Memorial in the background.

We saw many of these trees and thought the look of them were fascinating.

Just another beautiful picture of the Hawaiian scenery!

I hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as I enjoyed sharing them! Please let me know what you think.

Sharon
